RE-ELECT

ROBIN COMEY

Since 2018, I've been honored to serve Branford as your voice in Hartford. Together, we've championed quality education, major investments in early childhood, protections for seniors and people with disabilities, public health initiatives, environmental preservation of our shoreline, and the fundamental rights that make our democracy strong.
DONATE TODAY
My first step is qualifying for Connecticut's Clean Elections program, which requires demonstrating strong grassroots support: $6,700 from 150 Branford residents giving between $5 and $340. This keeps our campaign accountable to you, not to outside money.

ABOUT
ROBIN

A parent advocate and organizer turned policymaker, Robin has served as Branford's State Representative since 2018. Known for her deep connections to constituents and skill at building coalitions, she is a fierce champion for her community, committed to addressing the issues facing Branford residents.

Robin is a wife, daughter, and mother to two adult children. She is also a small business owner and nonprofit leader whose dedication to families, vulnerable residents, and the environment drives her work.

"Together we can create a thriving and inclusive community where every voice is heard, and every individual is valued."

Her priorities center on ensuring all Connecticut children have a strong, healthy, and safe start in life. As a longtime member of the Education Committee, she has championed quality, affordable early education and special education. As Vice Chair of Human Services, Robin focuses on state policy opportunities to address the impact of federal cuts to services and funding for residents most in need.

THE
ISSUES

affordability

When families succeed, Connecticut succeeds. A bipartisan budget, a record Rainy Day Fund and historic revenue growth are allowing us to make critical contributions to our pension fund, putting the state in a positive position for the first time in decades. She is a key champion of recent investments in Early Start CT and has been consistently recognized for her dedication to the economic security of young children and their families.

SENIORS & the disabled

Connecticut’s long-term services and support systems for people with disabilities and seniors are critical to keeping our residents safe, housed, and healthy. As Vice Chair of Human Services, Robin is committed to addressing issues protecting seniors. Tax relief can play an important role, and bold steps are needed.

EDUCATION

Good schools are the cornerstone to any growing community, and to succeed, Connecticut must commit to providing quality education for all. She fights every day to give our public schools the support they need to meet our children's needs, while keeping our youth at the center of our policy-making.

PUBLIC HEALTH

Robin has been a long-time advocate for public health issues, including mental health, food allergies, infant/maternal health and community wellness. She was recently chosen to represent Connecticut in NCSL's 2026 Opioid Fellowship Program. Robin is deeply involved with the local organizations working to prevent addiction and promote public health.

ENVIRONMENT

Branford residents have experienced disruption caused by storms, and are concerned with the impact rising sea levels have on their homes and businesses. I am a strong voice for Branford, advocating for efforts to protect our shoreline and the people who live here.

protecting DEmocracy

Robin has been an advocate for protecting immigrant communities and is committed to treating all people with dignity. Whether fighting for access to reproductive healthcare, reducing gun violence or protecting voting rights, Robin believes that the government must be held accountable to the people.
